The Churg-Strauss mailing list has expanded to become
the Savvy Mailing List. Savvy is open to Churg-Strauss patients and their families, AND all the related systemic vasculitides
and vasculitis.
In addition, we provide information on overlapping and secondary illnesses.
The combining of related illnesses provides greater
contact opportunities and an expanded base of experience and knowledge
since the related vasculitides -
are similar in diagnosis, treatments and their side effects
The overlaps and the significant secondary illnesses are
similar too, and require as much attention as the primary illness. The Savvy Mailing List now numbers hundreds of subscribers,
with the majority being Churg-Strauss patients.
We have subscribers ranging from eleven years of age to the late sixties,
and patients with a wide range of backgrounds, languages and treatment plans. Some use strictly
western medicine and others combine western and complementary medicines in a more holistic approach.
